<p>PURPOSE: To prevent film boiling or dryout on the outer surface of a calandria tube by reducing the contact heat conduction between a pressure tube and the calandria tube. CONSTITUTION: The intertube thermal conductivity regulator of a reactor fuel channel 1 having an inside pressure tube 2 and an outside calandria tube 3, is placed between a pressure tube and a calandria tube, and is provided with a wire screen 7 regulating the contact area between the two tubes. By reducing the contact area, the screen regulates the thermal conductivity to the calandria tube.</p> |
