In an injection mould 1, 2, a product 12 having reinforcement 9 in the form of textile, metal, etc. is produced, whilst at the same time warping tendencies in the finished product, resulting from different shrinkage properties in the plastics material and the reinforcement, are substantially resisted. The reinforcement is placed and fixed in the cavity of the mould and when the parts of the mould are closed, the cavity is divided into a space 3 at least substantially enclosing the reinforcement 9 and gaps 6 extending around or beside the said cores. The plastics material is applied into the mould space. In the plastics material, in the gaps around and beneath the respective core, a cooling is allowed to take place, which cooling is essentially independent of the cooling in the plastics material around and beneath every other core, whilst the fixing of the reinforcement is simultaneously maintained throughout the cooling process. <IMAGE> |
