PURPOSE:To provide a printer capable of avoiding danger of a maintainer in maintenance operation. CONSTITUTION:A printer which performs cyclically warming up accompanied by operation of a mechanism part 20 is composed of a signal generating means 10 which generates a signal indicating start of the warming up, an informative means 11 which informs that the warming up is going to start, and a control means 12 which drives said informative means 11 prior to start of the warming up accompanied by motion of a mechanism part when a signal indicating the start of the warming up is generated by said signal generating means 10. |
