<p>The sorting unit has a fruit supplying conveyor belt (2) and three adjacent rollers rotatable on spindles (4). Adjacent to the last roller (3) a conveyor belt (5) is fitted at a slight incline to the horizontal. The second conveyor bolt (5) is in the adjoining section with an undulating shape. Following the second conveyor belt (5) is a measuring station (9) consisting of four rotating rollers or brushes (10). After the measuring station the conveyor belt (13) includes a large number of caps (14) to receive fruit, which is then exposed to an overhead camera, for quality and size control.</p> |
