PURPOSE:To simply select the measurements due to various measuring systems by providing a cylindrical concave part of an acoustic lens and providing a vibrator composed of a plurality of short strip-shape vibration elements to the opposite surface of said lens to constitute a probe. CONSTITUTION:A vibrator 1 is bonded to an acoustic lens 2 on the side opposite to the cylindrical concave part 2A of said lens 2 to constitute a probe. The vibrator 1 consists of 9 vibration elements 1a-1i and said elements 1a-1i are arranged on the left and right of the center axis C of the lens by four. The vibration elements 1a-1i are connected to the pulser 5 and receiver 6 of the outside through a switch 8 and the switch 8 is subjected to ON/OFF change-over control by an SW change-over circuit 7. By selecting some of switch elements 8a-8i in combination corresponding to a sample to be measured, the corresponding vibration elements are operated and the measurements due to various measuring systems can be changed over by the switch without replacing the probe. |
