Procedure for the preparation of an oil similar to jojoba oil, using ultrastable zeolytes as catalysts. Procedure for the preparation of a product similar to jojoba oil by sterilization of oleic acid with oleic alcohols using ultrastable zeolytes as catalysts. The maximum activity is observed with the product dealuminized with steam and SiCl4. Whereas the ultrastable zeolites do not catalyse the formation of esters with >C36 they are very active and selective for the formation of esters with C32-C36. The conditions which the catalyst must satisfy are described.
