PURPOSE:To see that the down driving by an electromotive shifter is not performed during the lighting of the lamp of an illuminator. CONSTITUTION:An illuminator 1 is provided freely in ascent and descent by a hanging line 5. The illuminator body 1 ascends and descends with the ascent and descent of the hanging line 5 by an electromotive shifter 6. The fixed contact point 3 provided at the ascent position of the illuminator 1 and the movable contact part 4 provided at the illuminator 1 are brought into contact with and separate from each other by the ascent and the descent of the illuminator 1. A relay detects the current application to the illuminator 1, and opens the driving circuit of an electromotive shifter 6. The electromotive shifter 6 is not driven by the relay during the lighting of the lamp of the illuminator 1. Arc discharge does not occur between the fixed contact part 3 and the movable contact part 4. Burning never occurs between the fixed contact part 3 and the movable contact part 4.
