PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure-sensitive recording sheet with high initial coloring properties and also superb light fastness by adding at least, monoisopropylbiphenyl to a solvent, and further, adding a benzotriazole derivative expressed by formula 1 to a hydrophobic core material. CONSTITUTION:Monoisopropylbiphenyl is the isomer blend of a chemical compound expressed by formula 2, and if the content of monoisopropylbiphenyl of a solvent is 30wt.% or higher, further improved initial coloring properties are obtained. If a solvent containing monoisopropylbiphenyl is used, a benzotriazole derivative expressed by formula 1 is found to demonstrate specifically superb effect upon the improvement of light fastness. In addition, the effect upon the light fastness is significantly higher than the effect anticipated when any other organic solvent is used. Further, it is recommended that about 0.1 to 10 pts.wt. preferably, about 0.1 to 3 pts.wt. of benzotriazole derivative be added to 100 pts.wt. of solvent depending on the case within that adjustable range. |
