PURPOSE:To realize a reduction of number of signals between a process and process input device, by installing an integrating device that supplies the fault signal of process and then delivers the signal after integrating the signals into the subject and contents of the fault. CONSTITUTION:The fault signal L2 is supplied to the integrating device E from a process. This signal L2 is produced by unifying the subject and contents of the fault in a number of product of the number of fault subjects and the number of types of faults. These signals are then integrated by the device E into the fault subject signal L3 and the fault contents signal L4 each to be outputted to the process input signal P10. The number of signals is equal to the sum of the numbers of fault subjects and the number of types of faults. As a result, the number of cables can be reduced greatly. The signal inputted to the process input device PIO is then supplied to the computer CPU, and the integrated signal is decomposed to be restored to the signal that is equivalent to the signal L2. |
