<p>PURPOSE:To execute two-dimensional DCT calculation with the use of less number of multiplexer. CONSTITUTION:The 8X8-picture data in real space is arranged one line in the prescribed order to form a vector <x> with 64 elements in the real space. A <v> calculation block 7 calculating the vector <v> based on the vector <x> in the real space, a <w> calculation block 8 calculating the vector <w> from the vector <x> in the real space, and a <c> calculation block 9 calculating the vector <c> in the frequency space with 64 elements by adding and subtracting the <v> and the <w> vector components, are provided. After rearranging the vector <c> element in the frequency space, the 8X8 data on the frequency space is obtained.</p> |
