EXCLUDING METHOD OF DUST OF SHADOW MASK

The fluff-like impurites attached to both inner and outer surfaces of the shadow mask are removed by burning in an indirectly heated combustion furnace at 300-500 deg.C, while the shadow mask being carried by a conveyer. The temperature profile in the combustor is predesigned to prevent shadow mask from suffering therml change so that the temperature increases gradually at the rate of 20 deg.C/min from both inlet and outlet ends and reaches a maximum, 300-500 deg.C at the center of the combustor. The method can reduce 10-14 % of inferior goods rate to 3- 4 %.
