1. A method of controlling the operation of electric motors of ventilator coolers, which involves switching on and off cooling fans by the control system characterized in that electric motors (3) driving fans (4), which are set for maximum efficiency, are switched on or off by the control system (1) reacting to the temperature detector (5) installed on an outlet line of the agent being cooled (6), programmed in such a manner that the slightest fluctuations of mass and heat balances related to the coolant and the agent being cooled, result in impulse switching on or off the optimal number of fans (4) in a closed cycle, and when the temperature of the agent being cooled increases, the fan, coming further after the last fan which was switched on, is switched on, and when the temperature of the agent being cooled decreases, the first fan which was switched on among currently working fans is switched off.<IMAGE>
