<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a mouse as the data input device for a word processor or a computer. CONSTITUTION:A pair of a movement extent detecting part 11 and a coordinate calculating part 12 which detect the rotation of a ball to calculate the present position of the mouse and a pair of a write pen detecting part 9 and a write pen coordinate calculating part 13 which detect a bright point of raster scanning line on the computer screen and take out coordinates at this time as absolute coordinates to correct apparent coordinates are provided. A target point on the computer screen is touched with the write pen detecting part on demand to move a mouse cursor to this point, and the ball is rotated from this point to move the mouse cursor again, and thus, the quick operability of the mouse is secured.</p> |
