PURPOSE:To guard against the execution of illegal processing and to prevent the missetting of a cash box and illegality by checking an ID number at the cash box, unlocking the lock of a door and then checking consistency in a cash transaction device for discharging cash from the attachable/detachable cash box. CONSTITUTION:In the cash transaction device including a cash transaction part 30 for executing at least the discharging operation of cash from the attachable/detachable cash box 2 and a control part 34 for controlling the cash transaction part 30, the cash box 2 is provided with an input part 28, a card reader 26, a door locking mechanism 236, and a control part 23, the ID of a card inputted from the input part 28 is compared with the contents of a clerk card read out by the card reader 26 to control the release of the relevant door locking mechanism 236. On the other hand, stock information is stored in a memory 231. |
