PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic image developing method exhibiting stable developing property with the lapse of time, having low environmental depen dency, and having capability of carrying out high density development. CONSTITUTION:In a method for developing an electrostatic image on an electrostatic image carrier 21 by a thin layer of a developer formed on a developer carrier 14, a layer thickness regulating member 17 consisting of a rigid stick body is elastically pressed onto the developer carrier 14 to form the thin layer of the developer. As the developer, a binary developer consisting of a toner and a carrier is used. As the carrier, a one obtained by adhering a resin fine particle onto the surface of a core material particle by mechanical impact force and having a spheroidicity of less than 0.15 is used, and as the toner, a one obtained by adding and mixing a fluidizing agent into a colored particle is used. |
