The method for forming black matrix on the panel inside of color cathode ray tube comprises (A) washing the panel with 45 deg.C water, (B) removing fluorescent organic materials and aluminium with NaOH solution, (C) washing the treated panel with 45 deg.C water, (D) treating the panel two times with 12-14 % HF to remove graphite component, (E) washing the panel with 25 deg.C water, (F) centrifuge drying the panel at 300-400 RPM to remove attached water, (G) coating the inside of panel with 20-30 deg.C photosensitive resin, (H) light exposing the resin film and developing with water, (I) coating thereon with graphite dispersions, and (J) washing it with high pressure water to produce black matrix.
