Anemometer with a floating hot signal consisting of a sensor formed from three fine wires lying on one plane, parallel to one another and perpendicular to the direction of gas flow and the electronic processing unit, in particular, one of the three parallel wires (A-A), (B-B), (C-C) is situated on the windward side of (A-A), fulfilling a role of periodic emitter of the hot signal, is connected to the output of the voltage-frequency converter (4), and the two other wires (B-B) and (C-C) fulfil the role of temperature detectors and are connected to the input of the phase detector (1), which is connected with one of the inputs of the integrator (2), controlling the frequency-voltage converter (4), whereby to the second input of the integrator (2) is connected the unit for applying the desired phase difference (3).<IMAGE>
