The container with gas and safety valves consists of a housing with a sealed cover (18) which contains two identical valves (3), facing in opposite directions. The body of each valve is welded into the cover and contains a moving shut-off element (8) with a seal ring (11) interacting with a conical seat. Each shut-off element is hollow and contains a spiral spring wound round an inner cylindrical support (13) which has its foot (14) fixed to the valve body by a bayonet joint.
