PURPOSE:To quality wise fulfill the performance of a solo pattern which automatically moves from a normal pattern performance while the keys on a keyboard are not being pressed and musical wise natural to make the transition between the normal pattern performance and the solo pattern performance. CONSTITUTION:As the performance patterns for an automatic accompaniment, plural number of normal patterns NORM 1 to 4, fill-in pattern FILL 1 to 4 and solo patterns SOLO 1 to 4 are independently provided. When nonpressed keys on the keyboard are continued more than a prescribed period during one of the normal patterns NORM 1 to 4 are being played, one of the patterns being played is shifted to one of the solo patterns SOLO 1 to 4 via fill-in patterns FILL 1 to 4. During one of the solo patterns SOLO 1 to 4 is being played, the pattern, which is being played, is shifted to one of the normal patterns NORM 1 to 4 in accordance with the keys being pressed on the keyboard. In these cases, the normal patterns NORM 1 to 4, which are being shifted, and the solo patterns SOLO 1 to 4 have a corresponding relationship to each other. |
