In a forming machine for head part of a long length product like a wrench, a long bolt and a tool, a driving belt pully (26) and a flywheel (2a) are fixed on both sides of the main crank shaft (2) across the main body (1). A hammer crank hod (2') connects a hammer (3) with the main crank shaft. The hammer slides in the length direction of the main body and attatches a hammer dice up- and-down operating plate (3a), which ups and downs along the groove on the hammer. A connecting part (8) formed on the lower part of the operating plate (3a) is connected to a up-and-down cam. A hammer dice (4) made of three steps is fixed on the outer part of the operating plate.
