PURPOSE:To provide the process for easily, exactly and inexpensively producing the resin sleeve which is not formed with unnecessary ruggedness, such as traces of mold parting lines, has microruggedness of desired roughness in the desired part of an outer peripheral surface at a desired thickness and is sufficiently utilizable as a toner transporting carrier of a developing device for an electrophotographic device and electrostatic recorder. CONSTITUTION:A resin sleeve blank pipe 6 is introduced into electrocasting sleeve 5 formed with the microruggedness 50 in the predetermined part of the inner peripheral surface and a bag 7 for expanding the blank pipe is previously introduced into this blank pipe. The electrocasting sleeve 5 is held by metallic molds 9 and is heated to the temp. above the thermal deformation temp. of the blank pipe and below the m.p.; thereafter, gas is introduced into this bag 7 to expand the bag, by which the blank pipe 6 is expanded until its surface comes into tight contact with the inside surface of the electrocasting sleeve 5 to form the resin sleeve. The metallic molds are thereafter removed and the resin sleeve 60 is taken out of the electrocasting sleeve 5 after waiting for the cooling of the resin sleeve. |
