PURPOSE:To prevent the increase of closing load at the time of a door glass plate ascending to be closed and also prevent the generation of a gap between a seal lip and a garnish in a hollow weatherstrip provided with a center pillar and fitted to the opening edge along the roof side of the door opening of an automobile body. CONSTITUTION:The part 14b, on the seal wall 12 side, of a center pillar 14 is inclined in the vehicle interior direction to be connected to the seal wall 12, and a connecting part 16 is formed into approximately V-shape cross section protruding in such a way as to enter the vehicle interior side. When door glass 3 ascends to push the connecting part 16 up, the part 14b, on the seal wall 12 side, of the center pillar 14 is deflected together with the seal wall 12, so that the closing load of the door glass 3 is absorbed to prevent the increase of load and also to prevent the inclination of the whole weatherstrip 1, resulting in preventing the generation of a gap between a seal lip 7 and a garnish 4. |
