PURPOSE:To output plural printing results of partly different contents with a single piece of document data by replacing only a specific character (mark) with another character date in a single document file. CONSTITUTION:When plural printing jobs are carried out with replacement of only a specific character (mark) contained in the document data, a control means 1 displays a message on a CRT screen through a display means 4 in order to make an operator point a document file 8 storing the date to be replaced. Then the operator inputs the information through an input means 2 based on the displayed message. Thus the means 1 displays another message on the CRT screen through the means 4 in order to select the next document file 8 to be printed. Then the operator inputs the information based on the message, and the means 1 reads the document data out of an external storage means 6 based on the inputted information. The read-out document date are sent to an insertion editing means 7 from the means 1. |
