PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of mobile communication by easily notifying the result of transmittal of a message to the operator of a center terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a message sent from centers 26, 28 addressed to a mobile station 16 reaches the mobile station 16 via a relay station and a district station 30 from an on-road station 10, the mobile station 16 returns the result of communication to the on-road station 10 upon the detection of a communication end part in succession to the message text. The result of communication is transferred to a registration station 32 via the district station 30 and the relay station from the on-road station 30. The registration station 32 sends the result of communication to the centers 26, 28 as transmittal acknowledge information. Thus, the centers recognize whether or not the message reaches the mobile station. |
