<p>PURPOSE:To shorten a carriage route for a sheet such as copying and mail sheets, and a distribution time therefor, and simplify a sheet distribution mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A movable guide plate 23 is capable of turning about the vicinity of the leading end of carried sheets 20 as an axis, with the trailing end thereof directed toward the inlet of the first tray 3 among the upper half trays 1 to 5 of a plurality of tiers of trays 1 and 11, and the inlet of the second tray 8 among the lower half trays 6 to 11. Also, a distributor 24 is capable of vertically moving along each inlet of a plurality of tiers of the trays 1 to 11. A control means 30 controls the guide plate 23 and distributor 24 in such a way as positioned at the inlet of the first tray 3 and, then, the distributor 24 vertically moves with the inlet of the first tray 3 as the first home position C. The sheets 20 are thereby controlled and distributed to each of the upper half trays 1 to 5. Also, the control means 30 controls the guide plate 23 and distributor 24 in such a way as positioned at the inlet of the second tray 8 and, then, the distributor 24 vertically moves with the inlet of the second tray 8 as the second home position D. The sheets 20 are thereby controlled and distributed to each of the lower half trays 6 to 11.</p> |
