PURPOSE: To provide a container, especially a drinking cup having an edge part including a main body made of foam plastics, cardboard, paper or similar material, not producing any uncomfortable feeling during drinking from it or producing no cracked state. CONSTITUTION: A collar 26 is made of a separate material such as compression thermoplastics in separate from a main body 21 of a container and this is fixed to an upper edge of the main body 21 of the container. It is also possible to fix a mouth roll to this collar 26 and cause the mouth roll to be integrally assembled with a lid. In addition, this container is convenient in use in an automatic dispensing machine or a drinking-cup holder.
