PURPOSE: To provide a package incorporating a peel seal which provides readily detectable evidence that the package has been opened or tampered with. CONSTITUTION: A front panel 21 and a rear panel 24 of the package are fixed to sides by a non-peel end seal 23 and a peel seal area 24. The peel seal 24 can form a peelable seal by pressing a heat seal rod against the panel to open the front panel 21 and the rear panel 22 by fingers. The peel seal 24 is transparent but turns opaque when unsealed.
