A method of measuring ground resistance in insulated direct current circuit made of receivers connected in series, which consists in making artificial grounding between the examined section of the circuit and the ground by means of an artificial grounding system, forcing the flow of alternating current of low frequency in the examined direct current circuit, generating the low frequency voltage signal, measuring voltage on the ground resistance, and determining the impendence of receivers of the examined section of direct current circuit by measuring voltage on individual receivers of the circuit and the current of constant amplitude and low frequency forced by the change in the resistance of the circuit receivers shunting loop, as well as calculating the value of ground resistance characterized in that an artificial grounding is made by joining the artificial grounding system (UW) between any "n" point of the examined section of direct current circuit and the ground, and then the flow of alternating current of low frequency in the examined direct current circuit is forced in such a manner that a part of working current of direct current circuit (I) is exposed, in the artificial grounding system (UW), to keying with the use of a signal of low frequency generated by means of voltage generator (2) and, simultaneously, the stabilisation of amplitude of obtained alternating signal (Ip) by means of the system of amplitude stabilisation (3) [...]<IMAGE>
