A method of galvanic spreading of palladium and nickel alloy coatings from baths containing salts of such metals and/or addition of brighteners characterized in that the process is conducted in the pH 6-10 solutions containing the tetraminopalladium complex of concentration of 10-50 g/dm3 with respect to palladium, the nickel salt of concentration of 10-80 g/dm3 with respect to nickel, the gluconic acid of concentration of 10-200 g/dm3, and the diethanolamine of concentration of 50-200 g/dm3 with current density of 2-40 A/dm2 at the temperature of 290-370 degrees K.
