The object of the present of invention is to reduce aquaplaning. Developments which are taking place in the designs of tyre treads in order to reduce aquaplaning have not been sufficient, since tyres, after a certain period of use, begin rapidly to loose their efficiency from the standpoint of grip, acting like normal tyres when aquaplaning occurs. The present invention consists essentially of a tube-type circuit which conveys part of the exhaust gases or compressed air to duck-billed nozzles which are located in front of each one of the vehicle wheels, it being possible for those at the front to be applied so as to accompany the wheels during turning. The duck-billed nozzles project the flow of exhaust gases or of compressed air onto the surface immediately at the front and ahead of the wheel. The flow of exhaust gases or of compressed air is controlled by an electromagnetic valve. With this device it is possible drastically to reduce aquaplaning, contributing significantly to an improvement of tyre grip on the ground and, as such, to the improvement of the vehicle's behaviour on wet ground.
