PURPOSE:To produce a composite shape material of dissimilar metals of good dimensional accuracy by heating a stainless steel material and an aluminum material at specific temp., superposing these, specifying the reduction ratio of the aluminum material and applying compressive pressure. CONSTITUTION:The stainless steel sheet 2 delivered from a sheet steel supplying device 1 is heated by a heater 6a, after which it is led to a pressure-contact device 7. On the other hand, the aluminum bar 4 delivered from an aluminum bar supplying device 3 is heated, after which it is led to the device 7. In the case of manufacturing a composite material 8 by using the device 7, the stainless steel sheet 2 and the aluminum bar 4 are heated to 200-650 deg.C, after which they are supplied to the device 7. The compressive forces by the rolls 11 and 12 of the device 7 are so set that the reduction ratio of the aluminum bar 4 attains >=40%. The device 7 consists of at least three rolls. Thereby, the firmly bonded composite shape material 8 is produced with good sectional size. |
