PURPOSE:To obtain an economical printer with high reliability and less noises by a method wherein one column of heads is not driven all at once, but a head is driven one by one slipping in time, thus, a peak of driving current is averaged and a peak of electric power consumption is eliminated. CONSTITUTION:A time delay circuit 5 is inserted between a character pattern generator 2 and a driver 3 and each of delay times tau1...tau7 is defined to a value deflected by a proper time space DELTAt. When a driving synchronous signal enters the character pattern generator 2, the driver 3 is actuated one after another slipping by DELTAt and a solenoid 4 is driven. For circuits 5 and 1, there are circuits wherein values of resistors RA1-RA7.RB1-RB7.capacitors C1-C7 are defined so that a delay time constant of each head by these values may be DELTAt. When a printing of a same column is not arranged in order vertically, it is better for heads to be arranged previously inclined reversely. |
