HIERARCHIC STRUCTURE DISPLAY PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE:To make the display processing of a hierarchic figure efficient by giving numbers based upon a hierarchic structure to respective blocks and showing the hierarchic connection of the blocks graphically according to data wherein the above numbers are arrayed linearly and hierarchically. CONSTITUTION:A two-dimensional table consisting of rows 1-3 where columns 1-4 are made to correspond to hierarchic levels is provided and a route number is set in the 1st row of the 1st column of the table. All the numbers except the route number of the data are taken out in order from the head, and when a filed of the table in the row where a number having a number value except the lowest-order digit of the number in the column of a hierarchic level corresponding to the digit number of the number is empty the number is set in the field. Consequently, the hierarchic figure can be displayed efficiently with linear array data of the number indicating the hierarchic structure; and the response of a relation process is made fast and the operability is improved.
