PURPOSE:To prevent unstable recording from occurring due to change of ink viscosity caused by evaporation of an ink solvent by applying voltage from both sides interposing a face of a penetration control member consisting of a porous film so as to make an ink pass through the penetration control member for recording images on a record medium. CONSTITUTION:An electric field attracting record head comprises a record head 2 having a penetration control member 5 arranged at an opening 4a of an ink receptacle 4. A cap 1 is provided for covering the opening 4a of the record head 2 and the penetration control member 5.
