The invention relates to an electrode device for the intracorporeal stimulation of body tissues, in particular for the intracardiac stimulation of cardiac tissue. The electrode device comprises an electrode cable comprising at least one, elongate, flexible conductor and an electrode head fitted on the distal end of the electrode cable. The electrode cable is also provided with an insulating layer. In order to obtain an electrode device with an electrode cable which can be transported in a vein with comparatively simple means and without the aid of a mandrin while retaining its flexibility and elasticity it is proposed, according to the invention, that the outer wall of the insulating layer (6) be provided with means (7, 9) which extend helically along at least part of the length of the electrode cable (2). <IMAGE> |
