<p>PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in the consistency of sheets by abutting the sheets against the stopper wall surfaces of bins by uniform pushing force by an alinger regardless of the various size of the sheets discharged from an image forming device body in a centerline reference, constant paper alignment and enhancement in the accuracy of paper post-treatment such as particular binding and stapling operation in a sorter with a plurality of the bins sorting and receiving the sheets and a stapler device binding and stapling the sheets received in said bins. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of bins 41 are housed in a box body and changed into a unit while said box body can be moved in the direction orthogonal to paper carrying in response to sheet width, said bin unit is shifted previously in a fixed quantity in response to the size of sheets P received in said bins, and the quantity of the sheets put aside by an aligning means is made approximately constant at all times regardless of sheet size.</p> |
