PURPOSE:To shorten data time by executing the Fourier transformation of an image data and transmitting the half number of sample data which are made point-symmetric with an origin as a center. CONSTITUTION:For an image data (a), two-dimensional discrete Fourier transformation is executed by an electronic computer at a transmission source. Since information is made point-symmetric on a Fourier face (b), the compression of the information is realized and the data on the half face is transmitted to an electronic computer at a reception destination. At the reception destination, the remaining half face is restored from the received information and by executing discrete inverse Fourier transformation, the source image data is obtained. At such a time, the half number of data at a sample point are transmitted, untransmitted data are restored from the received data, and the image data is restored by executing inverse Fourier transformation. Thus, since the image data can be made 1/2, transmission time can be shortened. |
