<p>PURPOSE:To improve airtightness and to secure the prevention of glass breakage as well as simplification of manufacture by pressing glass so as to fit to a fitting hole on the body of an inspection hole through the plastic deformation of an inelastic packing. CONSTITUTION:When glass 8 enclosed with an inelastic packing 7 is pressed so as to fit to a fitting hole 3 on the body of an inspection hole 1, the inelastic packing 7 is subjected to drawing deformation by sliding its end into the inner R face of the fitting hole 3 while the plastic deformation of the inelastic packing is generated in the press-fitting process. Then the glass 8 is pressed so as to fit integrally to the fitting hole 3 through the plastic deformation of the inelastic packing 7. Consequently, the manufacture can be simplified. Also, the prevention of glass breakage as well as improvement in airtightness can be secured.</p> |
