POLYESTER SHORT FIBER FOR SPUN YARN

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a polyester short fiber for spun yarn having excellent spinnability, containing titanium dioxide and free from generation of scum. CONSTITUTION:A polyester short fiber for spun yarn containing >=1wt.% of titanium dioxide and having a single fiber fineness of >=0.5 denier is produced by applying 0.1-0.4wt.% (based on the fiber) of a lubricant having a specific composition and composed of a polyoxyethylene or polyoxypropylene alkyl ether, a fatty acid ester, a cationic surfactant and a polysiloxane.
