PURPOSE:To eliminate troublesomeness of operation by shortening release time lag when a mobile body is photographed with a red-eye effect preventing camera. CONSTITUTION:Whether the subject is moving or not is detected by a mobile body detection means 2 and inputted to CPU1. If the mobile body is stopped, a light emitting number of times changeover means 3 is operated by the CPU1, and preliminary light emission sufficient to prevent the red-eye effect is ejected by a flash light emitting device 4. On the other hand, if the subject is moving, the preliminary light emitting number of times for prevention of the red-eye effect is made to be zero or else extremely small. Furthermore, mobile body detection is carried out by measuring the distance twice with an interval in between with a regular distance measuring circuit for camera. |
