<p>PURPOSE:To provide a Josephson mixer for obtaining impedance matching with microwaves to be detected and a method for fabricating the same. CONSTITUTION:A Josephson mixer utilizes grain boundary Josephson junction of high temperature oxide superconducting particles of a particle diameter of 1mum or less, and impedance of the element is 1OMEGA or more. As baking conditions of the oxide superconductor, baking temperature is controlled at the time of primary baking to make a particle diameter of the superconductor 1mum or less, and at the time of secondary baking, the superconductor is baked at limiting temperature where grain growth begins so as to form grain boundary junction to fabricate a Josephson mixer with impedance of 1OMEGA or more.</p> |
