The present invention relates to a head for stapling preassembled elements (E) together, particularly for packing heads for cases or boxes made of wood which are capable of being moved in succession in a rectilinear filing-past direction (D), this stapling head comprising, on a support (1), at least one stapling member (2) which includes a sliding pusher element (12, 13), the active end of which interacts, in the working position, with a riveting anvil (57) in order to perform a stapling operation. According to the invention, the support (1) of the stapling member or members (2) consists of a rotary table capable of being driven rotationally and continuously about an axis (X) substantially perpendicular to the direction of filing past (D) of the element, (E) to be stapled, and in the direction of forward travel of the latter. <IMAGE>
