A liquid counter in the form of a hydrometric vane or turbine flowmeter comprises two interconnected measurement wheels (55, 56) installed in tandem in the direction of flow. Control paddles (73, 74) arranged on both sides of the wheels influence the flow to, and away from the measurement wheels (55, 56). The control paddles are controlled, via a gearing, by means of a closure plate (31) arranged centrally on a bearing body for the measurement wheels (55, 56) and guided in the bearing body. The entire liquid counter (10) is therefore symmetrical about a plane of symmetry perpendicular to the direction of flow, and therefore both incorporation of the measurement wheels and adjustment of the liquid counter are simplified. In addition, no seals are required. |
