Garment of the type having a hood which folds away inside a collar which forms a pocket (pouch), the opening of which is fitted with closure means. The hood (13) is attached to the garment (2) by means of a band (14) which is sewn on and whose base is stitched into the same seam as the bottom band (5) for closing the pocket in the collar around the neckline (1) and whose top part is attached to the hood (13) at a certain distance from the free bottom edge (16) of the latter so as to form a flap (17) which covers up the collar (3) opening and the neckline (1) in the use position. <IMAGE>
