PURPOSE:To increase learning chances without excessively decreasing the reliability of learning of a target resistance value by performing the learning even in steady-state running other than idle operation. CONSTITUTION:In this device, a judging means 16 for judging whether learning with a learning means 15 is executed or not, a steady-state learning means 17 and a control means 18 for controlling the operation of the steady-state learning means 17 according to the result of judgement of a judging means 16 are provided. The steady-state learning means 17 learns and updates a target resistance value according to the value of the power supplied to a heater from a heater control means 14 in the steady-state running state other than idle operation state when the learning means 15 does not execute learning. The control means 18 inhibits the learning of the steady-state learning means 17 when the execution of the learning under the idle operating state is judged and allows only the learning during the idle operation. In this way, the learning chances can be increased by performing the learning in steady-state running other than the idle operation. |
