PURPOSE:To manufacture easily and inexpensively a frame with channel for a panel to be able to prevent the generation of creases and reliefs of panel corners and their neighborhood. CONSTITUTION:An imitation panel 6 is formed correspondingly to the shape and size of panel peripheral edge section. A part of the peripheral edge of the imitation panel 6 is inserted into an extrusion opening 21 of a cap 20 of a die device 11 from the side opening, and a molding space 23 corresponding to the sectional shape of a frame 4 is formed between the peripheral edge of the imitation panel 6 and the extrusion opening 21. Then, the imitation panel 6 and the device 11 are moved three-dimensionally and relatively to the curved face and in the peripheral direction of the imitation panel peripheral edge, while a material fed into the die device 11 is extruded out of the extrusion opening 21 through the molding space 23. The frame 4 of uniform section connected along the peripheral edge of the imitation panel 6 is formed by said arrangement. After that, the frame 4 is released from the peripheral edge of the imitation panel 6 to form an inserting channel 5 for the panel edge, and a frame 3 with channel is manufactured. |
