CONSTITUTION:2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-(3'-phenyl-4'-hydroxyphenyl) propane used as an electron acceptable developer is a compound having the melting point of 119-121 deg.C, and also has practicability singly, but a thermal recording material having high sensitivity and extremely excellent color-developed image fastness and handling or shelf stability to light, a plasticizer, humidity, etc., by using a small amount of a sensitizer to the developer can be acquired by combining oxalic acid bis (p-methylbenzine) as a heat-fusing substance. It is favorable that an electron donative color former is selected from 3-di-butylamino-6- methyl-7 anilinofluoran and 3-(n-isoamyl-n-ethylamino)-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran.
