<p>PURPOSE:To provide an IC card carrying a rewritable IC card actuating program and has a memory security managing function. CONSTITUTION:The processor 1 of the IC card 9 provided with the processor 1, 1st memory 3, and a connecting section 2 to an external device 8 makes access to the 2nd memory 10 incorporated in the device 8 and executes the processing program 31 stored in the memory 10 incorporated in the external device 8 as the IC card actuating program through the memory 10 and section 2. When the processor 1 receives an identification number form the device 8, the processor 1 executes a security management program 32 stored in the memory 3. Therefore, the IC card actuating program 31 can be easily changed or exchanged. In addition, since the security management program 32 is stored in the memory 3 incorporated in the IC card 9, the security of the card can be maintained.</p> |
