<p>PURPOSE:To detect the number of persons by discriminating the persons passing through prescribed zones of wide detection areas by using plural pyroelectric sensors. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd detection areas are provided by using two pyroelectric sensors 1 and 2 and a mirror 3 and, when persons successively pass through the detection areas, the number and moving directions of the persons passing through detection zones in the detection areas are detected by detecting the passing directions of the persons based on the output and timing of the sensors 1 and 2.</p> |
