PURPOSE:To prevent a dendrite-form of uneven deposit of zinc deposited electrically on a negative electrode in the charging, to increase the energy efficiency, and to prevent a short circuit owing to the deposited zinc, in a zinc-haloid battery to be a secondary battery which furnishes a zinc electrode as a negative electrode, a haloid electrode as a positive electrode, and circulates a water solution including a zinc halide as the main component, as an electrolyte. CONSTITUTION:In a battery furnishing a zinc electrode as a negative electrode, a haloid electrode as a positive electrode, and an acid water solution including a zinc halide as the main component, as an electrolyte; or in a battery furnishing an electrolyte to solve further Pb of 1X10<-6> to 1X10<-3>mol/l, and or Sn of 1X10<-6> to 1X10<-3>mol/l to the above electrolyte; Tl in the scope of 5X10<-6> to 9X10<-5>mol/l, and Bi in the scope of 5X10<-6> to 9X10<-5>mol/l are added making the Tl:Bi as 1:0.1 to 1:10. |
